The Filipina Leadership Global Summit is exclusively designed for the Global FWN100™ Awardees—Filipina women leaders creating change in the world of Filipinas in diaspora.

Each year, the Filipina Women’s Network explores these questions when designing the Filipina Summit’s intensive learning experience. The summit brings together Filipina women leaders from a variety of industries and countries to think collaboratively about the future of our respective communities, work, and leadership. The sessions, action group discussions, and personal reflections, are designed to help you gain insights about the future of leadership as a Filipina woman.

Former President and Chief Operating Officer of the Philippine Tourism Promotions Board, and the former Undersecretary of the Philippine Department of Tourism for Sports and Wellness Tourism from 2003 to 2010. During her stint, she made numerous initiatives on sports and health that include adventure sports, diving, golf, medical/healthcare travel, and wellness tourism, among many others.
A health enthusiast herself, she spent her life promoting sports, fitness, and health/wellness tourism in the Philippines and throughout the world. She is currently heading the Philippine Organization of Wellness Establishments & Resources or known as POWER. She also served as the Executive Director of the Philippine Commission on Sports Scuba Diving for several years, and the Commissioner of the Philippine Sports Commission. These initiatives have won for her numerous awards.
In 2003, she won the International Olympic Committee awards in Lausanne, Switzerland, the “Best in Women in Sports” for the whole of Asia continent. In 2009, she also bagged the IDEA awards in the USA besting others for the “Personal Fitness Trainer of the Year.” And was also recognized as “Ambassador of the Sea” by the OceanEnvironment for her dedication and leadership in promoting the conservation and protection of marine resources in the Philippines.
She is now the current President of the Gymnastics Association of the Philippines (GAP); Board of Director of the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC); Member of the Executive Committee of the Asian Gymnastics Union (AGU); Vice President of the Southeast Asian Gymnastics Confederation (SEAGCON); President of the Asian Holistic Medical Alliance (AHMA) Inc.; And the President and Managing Director of her own company, Advantage Sports & Leisure, Inc.
